Major Updates on Toy Standard ISO 8124-1:2018

The 2018 version of ISO 8124-1 (Safety of toys – Part 1: Safety aspects related to mechanical and physical properties) has been published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard applies to toys intended for use by children under 14 years of age and is largely based upon current toy standards in the European Union (EN 71-1) and in the United States (ASTM F963).
