Harmonized Standards updated in General Product Safety Directive

European Union (EU) published General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC (GPSD) firstly in 2002 and put it into force in 2005, aimed to ensure products placed in the EU markets are safe. On 15th October 2015, the EU updated the list of standards for GPSD in the Commission Communication 2015/C 335/01. For certain products, new harmonized standards are published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
